You must have seen QR codes on many products. When you scan them, It shows item price, product descriptions or design details, etc.

What if you are working as a graphic designer, and your clients insist you add the QR code to the flyer or any other design they placed an order for?

If you are a Canva designer then the solution is there. It is easy to generate QR codes in canva for any design or information. You just need the URL of that specific detail. Canva will generate a QR code with a few clicks that you can paste on any of your designs.

Let’s take an example of a poster design. Your clients want you not to mention the price on their poster and need the QR code instead in the design that can divert their customers to the page from where they can see the price detail for each product.

How to paste a QR code in Canva Designs?

Follow the below steps to paste the QR code to the poster.

Step 1- Design a poster in Canva.

Step 2 — Get the product and price details from your client.

Step 3 — Create a new design. Go to elements, select table, and insert the data into it.

Step 4 — Go to the share button and generate the URL link for viewing only.

Step 5 — On Canva’s editor left bar, see the button “More”, click on it, and then find the option QR Code. Press this button and paste the URL in the given space under it. You can customize your barcode design here with a few options like a color change or margins. Press the button “Generate QR code” and get your QR code.

Step 6- Place this QR code anywhere on your poster design.
